Ngurra Warriors is a national Indigenous martial arts and leadership program created to ignite potential, build resilience, and strengthen communities.

Your donation – large or small – helps us bring life-changing training, mentoring and cultural connection to young people who need it most, under the umbrella of our registered DGR charity, Sports Health Check.

All donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia through Sports Health Check (DGR).

Why your support matters?

Across Australia, too many young people are growing up without safe spaces, positive role models, or a clear pathway forward.

Ngurra Warriors:

  • Creates safe, structured training environments in community co-ops.
  • Builds confidence, discipline, and leadership skills through martial arts and cultural learning.
  • Connects young people with trusted mentors and coaches from their own communities.
  • Supports pathways into education, employment and community leadership.

 

Your donation directly helps us train coaches, support community co-ops, and put real opportunities in front of young people who might otherwise miss out.

How your donation helps?

You can choose a specific amount or set your own. Here’s how your support can make a difference:

  • $10 – Helps provide basic training resources for a young warrior.
  • $25 – Contributes to safe training equipment and educational materials.
  • $50 – Supports coach development and cultural learning activities.
  • $100 – Assists in funding a full program session for a group of young people.
  • $250 – Helps co-fund a community co-op’s start-up costs for Ngurra Warriors.
  • $500 – Supports coach accreditation, mentoring and ongoing program delivery in community.
  • $1,000+ – Helps establish and sustain Ngurra Warriors hubs in high-need communities.

 

You can also choose “Other Amount” to give at a level that suits you.

All donations to Ngurra Warriors are processed through our umbrella charity:

Sports Health Check

Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)

This means:

  • Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia.
  • You will receive a tax receipt for your records.

Larger gifts, partners & philanthropy

If you are a philanthropist, foundation or corporate partner and would like to:

  • Support the rollout of Ngurra Warriors in a specific region or community
  • Sponsor coach training or leadership pathways
  • Fund a multi-year program or national expansion
